GAY DEGANI, HEAVY FEATHER REVIEW

This is an interview with the lovely folk at Bath Fiction, shortly after I came runner up in their 2019 novella-in-flash award.

I was interviewed by the brilliant and mega-talented Elisabeth Ingram Wallace for Issue 65, in which my flash 'Marks' also appears (during the week when Lis was guest reader).

Amy is the author of The Disappeared, released in 2019. She has used her blog to celebrate the year of the debut author and I was delighted that she agreed to interview me about my novella Homing. Read about my experience so far as a debut author, especially of a book outside the usual genres.

Gay Degani is an award-winning writer I admire very much. We encountered each other on a Flash Fiction Workshop course, and I was thrilled to take part in this interview with her, for Heavy Feather. Read our chat about my novella Homing here.

THE SHORT STORY INTERVIEW

I was interviewed by Rupert of The Short Story following my flash fiction piece 'Yew' winning  first place in the Cambridge Prize for Flash Fiction 2020. You can read here about the inspiration behind my topiary story and where I'm at with writing in general.
